THE HISTORY & SPIRITUALITY
OF THE NICENE CREED
THURSDAY, MARCH 27 I 7PM I MAIN CHURCH
Every Sunday, following the homily, we rise and pray together the Nicene Creed: “I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, ...” Unfortunately for many of us, the Creed can seem somewhat repetitious and we often take these precious words for granted. Yet, this beautiful profession of faith is far from being routine or dull - it was born of great faith and even various controversies in the centuries of the early Church.

• Have you renewed and replaced some of your older belongings and you still don't know what to do with them?
• Do your cabinets, closets, basements and storage areas need some major "Lenten re-examination" and cleanup?
• Would you like to do something extra for Jesus and something very special for other brothers and sisters in need?
